| I am currently studying a PhD in computational Biology at the University of East Anglia. I work with people from the nearby John Innes Centre and further afield at Oxford University and Uppsala in Sweden. Essentially I help solve problems for Biologists with the aid of a computer which may be used to process genetic data such as DNA, RNA etc. The practical applications include looking for diversity in Crop data sets and detecting recombination in HIV genetic sequences. |
